Our Treatments

Treatment based on your individual assessment, symptoms and goals.

Your treatment should be based on your individual assessment, symptoms and goals.

We may use one treatment approach or combine several techniques as part of your wider rehabilitation.

LightForce Laser Therapy

LightForce Laser Therapy is a non-invasive treatment using therapeutic light energy.

It may be used alongside physiotherapy for selected musculoskeletal conditions, including some muscle, tendon and joint problems.

Treatment is generally quick and comfortable and can be incorporated into a physiotherapy appointment when appropriate.

Your physiotherapist will assess whether laser therapy is suitable for your condition.

£35 for 15 minutes, or £15 as an add-on during a physiotherapy session.

Joint Mobilisation

Your physiotherapist uses controlled movements to the joint and surrounding structures as part of your overall treatment programme.

It may be combined with exercise and other rehabilitation techniques.

Soft Tissue Therapy

Soft tissue therapy uses hands-on techniques to work with muscles and surrounding tissues.

It may help with areas of muscular tightness, stiffness and discomfort and can be used alongside exercise and other physiotherapy techniques.

Sports Massage

Despite the name, sports massage isn't only for athletes.

It can be useful for anyone experiencing muscular tightness or soreness from exercise, work, prolonged sitting or everyday activities.

Treatment may help:

  • Reduce muscular tension
  • Improve mobility
  • Reduce stiffness
  • Support recovery
  • Prepare the body for activity

30 or 60 minute sessions available.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture uses very fine, sterile, single-use needles placed at specific points on the body.

Within physiotherapy, acupuncture may be used as part of a wider treatment plan to help manage pain and support rehabilitation.

Your physiotherapist will discuss whether acupuncture is appropriate for you before treatment.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a technique commonly used within physiotherapy to target areas of muscular pain and sensitivity.

It may be considered for problems involving muscle tension or trigger points and is generally used alongside other aspects of rehabilitation.

Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation – IASTM

IASTM uses specialist instruments alongside hands-on techniques to work with areas of soft tissue that may feel tight or restricted.

It may be considered for selected muscle, tendon and soft tissue problems and can be combined with movement and exercise rehabilitation.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping uses specially designed cups to create suction against the skin.

Some people find it helpful for short-term relief of muscular tightness or discomfort.

Cupping is a complementary treatment and may be used alongside other physiotherapy approaches.

Temporary circular marks or bruising can occur following treatment. Your physiotherapist will discuss the treatment and any relevant precautions with you beforehand.
